The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and counsels victims of disasters, provides nearly half of the nation's blood supply, teaches lifesaving skills, and supports military members and their families.
We are a charitable organization -- not a government agency -- and depend on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform our humanitarian mission.

Thanks to the contributions of hundreds of Union County residents,the 2009 Heroes campaign was a success! Despite the declining economy, our heroes each raised $1,000 or more to further the Red Cross mission. All of the funds raised will be used for local emergency services.
Our sincere appreciation to Stephen and Bunny Rosenburgh, who chaired this year's campaign, and to Union County Sheriff Eddie Cathey, perennial honorary chair.
